Der Kriterienkatalog C5 (Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue) spezifiziert Mindestanforderungen an sicheres Cloud Computing und richtet sich in erster Linie an professionelle Cloud-Anbieter, deren Pr\u00fcfer und Kunden.<\/p>\n

Der Kriterienkatalog C5 wurde im Jahr 2016 durch das Bundesamt f\u00fcr Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik erstmalig ver\u00f6ffentlicht (C5:2016) und hat sich in den letzten Jahren erfolgreich im Markt durchgesetzt: Nach Kenntnis des BSI wurden bereits mehr als ein Dutzend Testate f\u00fcr nationale, europ\u00e4ische und weltweite Cloud-Anbieter sowie eine breite Palette an Cloud-Diensten erstellt. Mittlerweile gibt es auch mittelst\u00e4ndische und kleinere Anbieter, die den Katalog anwenden. Der C5 bietet Cloud-Kunden eine wichtige Orientierung f\u00fcr die Auswahl eines Anbieters. Er bildet die Grundlage, um ein kundeneigenes Risikomanagement durchf\u00fchren zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Im Jahr 2019 wurde der C5 grundlegend \u00fcberarbeitet, um auf aktuelle Entwicklungen einzugehen und die Qualit\u00e4t noch weiter zu erh\u00f6hen (C5:2020).<\/p>\n

Neben unz\u00e4hligen Aktualisierungen und Verbesserungen wurden folgende Schwerpunkte erg\u00e4nzt:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Der neue C5 setzt die allgemeinen Anforderungen des EU Cybersecurity Acts (EUCA) um. Die europ\u00e4ische Verordnung beschreibt Anforderungen an IT-Produkte und -Dienste, die nach einem EUCA-konformen Verfahren zertifiziert sind. Diese Anforderungen sind in den C5:2020 eingeflossen und in der neuen Dom\u00e4ne Produktsicherheit zusammengefasst.<\/li>\n
  2. Bei der sicheren Nutzung von Cloud-Diensten spielt die Schnittstelle zwischen Cloud-Anbieter und Cloud-Nutzer eine wichtige Rolle.     Genesys Cloud certified according to BSI Cloud C5<\/p>

    The Criteria Catalogue C5 (Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue) specifies minimum requirements for secure cloud computing and is primarily aimed at professional cloud providers, their auditors and customers.<\/p>

    The C5 criteria catalog was published for the first time in 2016 by the German Federal Office for Information Security (C5:2016) and has successfully established itself on the market in recent years: To the BSI's knowledge, more than a dozen test certificates have already been issued for national, European and global cloud providers as well as a wide range of cloud services. In the meantime, there are also medium-sized and smaller providers using the catalog. The C5 provides cloud customers with important guidance for selecting a provider. It forms the basis for being able to carry out a customer's own risk management.<\/p>

    In 2019, the C5 was fundamentally revised to address current developments and further enhance quality (C5:2020).<\/p>

    In addition to countless updates and improvements, the following key points were added:<\/strong><\/p>

    1. The new C5 implements the general requirements of the EU Cybersecurity Act (EUCA). The European regulation describes requirements for IT products and services that are certified according to an EUCA-compliant procedure. These requirements have been incorporated into the C5:2020 and summarized in the new domain Product Security.<\/li>
    2. In the secure use of cloud services, the interface between cloud provider and cloud user plays an important role. The C5:2020 introduces \"corresponding criteria\" that the cloud customer has to fulfill at the interface to the cloud service in order to play its part in the shared responsibility for security.<\/li><\/ol><\/div>
